Fixed Panel-
Fixed panels are the smallest and simplest form of secondary glazing. Face fixed with screws to be easily removed as required.
The unit has a neoprene bubble gasket to the rear which provides superb air tight sealing qualities. They are often used for non-opening windows, wooden doors suffering from draught and bespoke projects.
-
Hinged Panel-
A frameless hinged panel is ideal for single windows, small doors and where sliders may not be an option. This type opens inwards into the room and is face fixed only. The closing mechanism for the hinged unit includes either sliding catches or turnbuckles. By sliding the catches downwards or twisting the turnbuckles to one side the unit can be opened. The reverse procedure should be used for closing the unit; a stay arm is available to secure the panel in an open position. The hinges are maintenance free, as they are self lubricating.
-
Lift Out Unit
Essentially a removable panel in an outer frame.
Great for fixed windows where only occasional access is required for cleaning etc. To remove the panel from the frame lift the panel upwards until the panel touches the inside of the outer frame head. The bottom of the panel can then be tilted out towards the operator until it is clear of the bottom frame. To replace the panel in the frame simply reverse the above procedure.

Counterbalanced Vertical Slider
The most popular option to insulate existing UPVC, timber, Aluminium and sliding sash windows. Also used for single, top hung, stacked windows and hatchways. Sliders are operated via the full length handles located on the bottom of each panel. The panel can be slid to any position as required and are held in position by the spring balances in the side of the outer frame.
Secondary Glazing
Secondary glazing is the perfect solution where you are unable to change your existing windows and still proves to be one of the best forms of protection for homes, public and private sector buildings and industrial units against heat loss, draught and noise intrusion. Our secondary windows can also be adapted into a fly screen. Our system may also be used for other various bespoke applications such as wardrobe doors, hatchways, cabinet displays, shaped and arched units.
We can provide you with many choices to suit your environment in standard white or other colours!

Horizontal Slider (Side to Side) -
One of the most commonly used forms of secondary glazing. Ideal over typical 2 and 3 pane external casement windows, patio doors and any window formation with vertical sight lines.
There is no limit on the number of panels in one individual frame and frame length is up to 5.5m. Frames can be joined catering for bigger windows/partitions etc.

3 Track option is available for maximum opening effect.

Heavy duty rollers are optional for heavy and narrow panes or simply to enhance a regular size slider.
